for Apple Silicon macs only: this app frees up a lot of space by removing the unused Intel binary from every audio plugin, and leaving just the Silicon binary
Because the transition from the old Intel CPUs to the new Apple Silicon M chips is not over, most plugin manufacturers are delivering the binaries of their plugins in both code formats: Intel and Apple. This means the every plugin has double the size. This utility removes the Intel binary, which is unused on the M chips, UNLESS for some reason your DAW runs in Rosetta legacy mode. My suggestion is to carefully read the instructions on the website below and run a simulation. If everything looks all right, BACKUP with Time Machine and then run the utility.
